Hunt Genealogy & Associates is a researchbased firm which originated in 1984, now offering historical & genealogical research, software training, genealogical education, and an extensive bookstore with over 1,000 highquality historical & genealogical books. We also conduct educational lectures in the field of historical research and computer sciences, including auditorium and classroom presentations. Hunt Genealogy & Associates originated in the 1980s in the heart of East Tennessee and Southwest Virginia. We began as a small researchbased business offering genealogical services, products and computerrelated services, and was founded by Shelia Steele Hunt of Kingsport, Tennessee. Over the past 20 years, we have conducted onsite historical and genealogical research for individuals and large firms in various cities across the U.S., including Salt Lake City, Fort Wayne, Washington, D.C. in addition to numerous state capitols.
