Only the finest materials available go into a Griffin custom folder. The blade and backspring are made of 440C or CM154 stainless, with hand forged damascus steel also an option. These metals allow a high degree of hardening which is crucial to edge holding ability. All other parts are made of stainless steel, making a Griffin knife stain and rust resistant. All parts are carefully fitted to insure tight seams and alignment. The attention to details and time consuming hand work are what separates our knives from other knife makers. We guarantee our knives to be free of faulty workmanship and defective materials. We guarantee the blade not to break if it is used as a cutting edge only. We do not guarantee if it is used as a pry bar, screw driver, chisel, lock pick, throwing weapon, etc. The blade is stressrelieved and if properly cared for will not break.
