As some of you might have heard we have suffered through a couple weeks of record rainfall. Water levels on Pewaukee Lake have never been higher. John Laimon owner of Smokeys Muskie Shop and the Bait Shop are under water. We have been closed to walk in traffic since June 1st. As of June 17th the Muskie shop still has over a foot of water on the main floor. Our internet connection is down, but we do have phone service. John wishes to thank all of you who have called, and stopped by to offer their best. We have a long way to go before things return to normal, besides waiting for the water level to drop, there will be major structural repairs to not only the Muskie shop, but several other buildings John owns as well. The good news is John can be seen paddling a canoe to the shop, wading through the first floor water to get to his office upstairs and is still taking calls to engage anyone willing to discuss current issues in these crazy times we live in. Give him a call and please consider checking your tackle box for anything you might need and placing an order...without boat rentals, walkin traffic any sales would be much appreciated.
