South Summit was established in 1996 and Incorporated late the same year. Its original inception was a web based company providing preparedness equipment out of a small garage. Like many other companies that start out this way it was a struggle in the beginning. Over time, the small garage company developed a customer base that far exceeded its abilities. In 2000 Mr. Dana Ellington acquired South Summit. With the acquisition, the product line expanded and is in a constant transition of growth. Within one year of the acquisition, sales more than doubled and have been on a constant upward direction. Our warehouse has also expanded to accommodate the additional products.
